APS is a relatively small company with great technical and financial background. Our team of engineers consists of young and hungry people which are guided by seniors with more than 30 years of experience in the field of aircraft engine jet blast protection. The continuous development of our products has convinced our clients for many years.

our story
Our story goes back to the 1960s when we were part of the German Rheinhold & Mahla Group. At this time, the Munich based company was the leading provider in Europe for industrial noise protection and already acting world wide. At the beginning we focused on noise enclosures and noise reduction measures for gas turbines for the power generation. From there it was only a small step to jet engines. Already in 1982 we developed, supplied and installed our first GRE for Lufthansa Technik in Manila, Philippines. A facility we are very proud of as it is still in service with almost daily use.
Then in 2006 APS GmbH (“APS”) became an independent company, concentrating exclusively on noise and blast protection for aircraft jet engines.
Today APS is the only Big Player for jet blast protection based in the European Union. From Munich we provide German Engineering to our customers all over the world.
A large number of patents documents the high technological status and aspiration that APS has in the area of airport noise protection. Something you can only achieve with a dedicated team and people working hard on the developments of our products to secure the technical leading position in the world.
